The thing I love about this job is getting to see some gorgeous spots across the country that I would never have known existed if it wasn’t for my couples! This was definitely the case when I met up with Kirsty and Duncan yesterday for their engagement shoot in Rayleigh. Parking up in a normal looking estate, I waited for Kirsty and Duncan to arrive and then we headed down a quiet country lane to be led out to a huge expanse of wheat and potato fields as far as the eye could see.
It was such a perfect pocket of countryside in an otherwise built up town and somewhere that the two of them had stumbled upon after moving out of London and now visit regularly.
Luckily, these two had also chosen the hottest weekend of the year to take off work, so we were treated to bright sunshine, and had to find shelter in the shade!
I can’t wait to see their really laid back day at West Street Vineyard come together later this year, but for now heres a few of my favourites from their engagement session…
