On Friday evening I drove through the foggy country lanes from Manningtree to Dedham for Cathryn and David’s intimate wedding at Maison Talbooth. With just a handful of friends and family joining them, being there to photograph their ceremony felt extra special.
Cathryn and David came across me after I photographed David’s daughters wedding back in 2015, weddings that come about from word of mouth are most definitely my favourites and it was so lovely to also catch up with Clare and Tom too!
When I arrived Cathryn was just putting on her shoes ready for the ceremony (and looking stunning in that gorgeous beaded dress!). Guests began to join us from their rooms upstairs having spent the day at the pool house swimming and indulging in afternoon tea. David waited patiently in the lounge, and before we knew it, it was time for Cathryn to walk down the aisle.
Their ceremony was lovely and full of smiles, with some fun stumbling on words (can anyone actually say solemnly?!), squeezing rings on and the registrar announcing the newlyweds under Cathryn’s surname to David’s surprise!
Below are a few of my favourites from this Christmassy wedding…
